Aloha Maui Episode 1 - Lahaina Advisory Team: Reflections of Hope and Healing
In this opening episode, Alakaʻi welcomes the members of the Mayor’s Lahaina Advisory team to the Aloha Maui set, marking the one-year remembrance of the Maui wildfires. This dedicated group of Lahaina’s own was called upon and stepped up to kōkua and kākoʻo their community as they collectively navigated through unprecedented challenges. Together, we reflect on the past year, acknowledging the struggles and loss while also sharing stories of resilience and recovery that continue to fuel hope and healing.
